A concluding chapter with case studies of ten green building projects provides further examples of the strategies presented and their incorporation into integrated building designs. They are selected to show a range of innovative strategies, geographical location, performance information, and building type.
Although the strategies can be perused and applied in isolation, the intent of this book is to show that green design is not about picking parts from a catalog. It is about ensuring that an ecological design intent is achieved.
The case studies presented in the first edition of The Green Studio Handbook were removed to make room for 10 new case studies. Since those original case studies are still interesting and educational exemplars of green design, they have been included on this website.
